PROGRAMS AT COLQUITT CHRISTIAN ACADEMY
“Grace, Wisdom, Knowledge”
Our science courses provide a valuable opportunity for our students to learn in a vibrant, supportive and dynamic community, while fostering the flexibility to focus on whatever area most interests them.
Our curriculum covers the entire spectrum of a complete education, which of course includes Language Classes. We provide the environment and resources necessary for the development of unique characteristics.
MUSIC & ARTS CLASSES
Project-based and experiential learning are encouraged in all classrooms across our school and, Arts Classes are no exception. We believe in letting students explore each subject matter in a way that makes a lasting impact.
Our history courses provide a valuable opportunity for our students to learn in a vibrant, supportive and dynamic community, while fostering the flexibility to focus on whatever area most interests them.
At CCA, our focus is not on standardized tests. We do not "teach to the test" but instead, teach your child how to learn and enjoy it.

With a commitment to instruct students via classical methods, Colquitt Christian Academy seeks to accomplish the following in all its levels, programs, and teaching:
Emphasize grammar, logic, and rhetoric in all subjects (see definitions below).
Encourage every student to develop a love for learning and to live up to his/her academic potential.
Teach all subjects as part of an integrated whole with the Scriptures at the center. (II Timothy 3:16-17)
Provide a clear model of the Biblical Christian life through our staff and board. (Matthew 22:37-40)
Encourage every student to begin and develop his relationship with God the Father through Jesus Christ. (Matthew 28:18-20, Matthew 19:13-15)
Provide an orderly atmosphere conducive to the attainment of the above goals.
Definitions: Grammar: The fundamental rules of each subject;
Logic: The ordered relationship of particulars in each subject;
Rhetoric: How the grammar and logic of each subject may be clearly expressed
Memory work is a vital part of CCA's curriculum. Each morning students in grades Kindergarten through 4th grade will participate in this "peg" building activity. Students will sing songs related to curriculum and learn the hymn of the month.
All curriculum used at CCA aims to challenge students appropriately as well as encourage love of learning. Additionally, curriculum used is consistent with the biblical worldview we instill in our students.
